This book is based on a study of 45 samples of ginseng collected from Jilin Province, Heilongjiang Province, Liaoning Province and Korea. These samples, which included 3, 4 and 5-year-old ginseng, were analyzed for various constituents, such as ginsenosides and polysaccharides, providing extensive scientific data. This book not only focuses on the methods of analyzing the nutritional content and functional factors in ginseng, but also presents the findings of these analyses.
