Abstract: This work presents a clear approach for the reconstruction of head and neck cancer excision defects. Starting with a brief historical account of head and neck reconstruction, the principles of resection and reconstruction of head and neck cancer, the book then provides a detailed overview of head and neck reconstruction based on head and neck subsites; various reconstruction techniques; best approaches; and the challenges faced in reconstruction and how to overcome them. Lastly, it discusses future directions in head and neck reconstruction.
