Was a Quaker ... converted to Catholicism during the war and went on to write many books on faith and became an authority on the life of St Thomas More. The year 1958, when he was 63, seems to have been a turning point in Reynold's life as, other than a brief article in Scouting in July 1979, his literary output was then exclusively connected with the Roman Catholic Church. He died aged 86 on the October 18th, 1981)
