This book tackles the role of interrelated conditions in the manifestation and course of pulmonary ailments. The articles run the gamut from basic to clinical science on such topics as airway allergy challenges, pulmonary dysfunction due to exposure to environmental pollution, molecular and functional aspects of smoking in lung carcinogenesis and in obstruction-related respiratory disorders, and others.
